The social security pension has been raised from ₹400 to ₹1,100 a month. The Chief Minister has directed that it reach beneficiaries’ accounts on the 10th of every month without fail.
Some 18 to 20 lakh eligible people are still left out because of KYC or Aadhaar-bank linking problems; the welfare camps are enrolling them.
