In July 2026 Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched doorstep digital property registration for residents aged 75 and above.
Elderly citizens can now complete the registration of a plot or other immovable property from home, without visiting a registration office.
The same month the state approved the Gram Panchayat Taxes, Rates and Fees Rules, 2026, allowing panchayats to raise their own revenue.
